Travel Pro Tip #2

Pro tip here around business travel in the age of Zoom and Teams. Keep your trips short and hyper-efficient. I'm assuming, of course, that you prefer to be at home with your loved ones. Don't smirk. We've all met those psychological cases that feel a sense of meaning from their Marriott or United points. Lately I've been booking a single night hotel stay with early flights in and late flights out and then cramming as many productive meetings within that window of time. It does a couple things.

First, it makes me work the phones hardcore to fill up the little time I've allotted myself. Second, it forces the need to be picky when choosing which meetings I want in the first place. My expense account is happier at the lower cost. I'm happier at the shorter time away from the family and Fido is happier that he'll only miss one walk instead of two.

The world has changed and the blessing that is virtual selling has allowed more of us road sellers to maintain a more balanced life. Maximize your time on the road by minimizing it! The frequent traveler points aren't worth much anyway.

STOKED!
