2% of cold calls actually result in appointments. 2%! That number is dauntingly low. I mean on a good selling day I may spend 30 minutes in a call block and knock out 15 calls. By those numbers I'm only going to secure 0.3 meetings. Why would I even waste my time? Well my friends these are the questions every new seller is asking themselves when they first hear the data and then look at their calendared appointment that you asked them to set saying Callblock. The activity is intimidating. They are going to get rejected and the results are frankly suck. 

Here's what we have to realize. 

The behaviors are the critical task. They do lead to something eventually. They do build thick skin and keep you quick on your feet. And in the macro world they are critical. Here's a better equation of what 2% drives to the bottom line. 

10 inside sales reps make 100 dials daily = 2 appointments. That's 10 appointments per week. 

10 appointments = 5 proposals

5 proposals = 3 signed deals 

3 deals = $500k revenue

So your 10 reps costing $1m in payroll annually and together making dials all day long net half a million dollars per week or $13m annually. Not bad numbers getting a 13x return on their investment.
